I was visiting a friend of mine who had just moved to Benalla and as she didnt know of many restaurants, we happened to come across Rafferty's while we were searching for somewhere to eat. We were immediately delighted by the open fire place and the food was just as delightful, if not better. The service was everything you would expect of a five star restaurant in Melbourne, which is where i am from. I can only hope to find a place like that in Melbourne that i could eat at more frequently or else be destined to travel to Benalla more frequently.
