We went to Ging's during the weekend. We tried the crispy cuttlefish (yum!), Ging's chicken dimsum (not great) and peking duck (very tasty). The peking duck was delicious, however it isn't the "traditional" style - one receives several slices of duck with the skin on, and some steaming-hot pastry sheets, and the service staff wraps the duck with condiments and plum sauce into the sheets in front of you. Overall the duck was nicely flavored, moist and delicious. We also ordered the mapo toufu, which was really good. Not too spicy unlike the original... (More)

Not too spicy unlike the original Szechuan recipe, but quite delicious because the subtler flavors of the other ingredients are not swamped by chilli peppers. The service was overall good, even though they had to deal with a full restaurant due to Father's Day. We requested various condiments and drinks throughout, and they arrived promptly at the table. The atmosphere was very warm and comfortable. And the owners popped by to say 'hi' to the guests. Overall a nice neighborhood restaurant, and worth another visit. (Less)
