Atmosphere was lovely. Food was very good (particularly the poached pears and blue vein cheese entree!) Service was very good - our waitress was young but very efficient (she could teach some old hands a thing or two!) Only complaint was that the new smoking laws mean that patrons are constantly going in and out of the building to smoke - and in winter you do not want to be near that door! Overall I was pleasantly surprised at having such a lovely meal at a Pub!
