After beginning Lynwood Preserves, Alan and Robbie Howard purchased the historic Poidevin family home in Collector and opened the Lynwood Café in 1999. Now run by son Robert Broadbent, the Café is located at the southern entrance to the town (as you come from the Federal Highway from Canberra) adjacent to the Collector Creek, and with views across the paddocks to the magnificent Lake George escarpment.
