In a nutshell, it's all about providing quality food and beverage services in an informal, yet comfortable environment with an overriding friendly, party atmosphere. Quite simply, the basic Hog's Breath philosophy is "have fun and enjoy yourself" - a principle engendered by its unique operating style and unlikely decor that sees walls crowded with unusual paraphernalia and memorabilia. In truth it's a place you have to personally experience to fully appreciate its rather different and exceptional reputation.

On arrival as standard we requested a table for 5, and a colouring in page for the 2 younger kids (knowing that Hog's breath usually offer this). We were seated and left for a few mins ---all good. Waitress took our order (We ordered 3 x Adult meals 2 x kids meals and drinks (2 x lemonades, 1 x coke, 1 x Beer, 1 x Coffee (basic flat white), and we reminded her of the colouring in pages to keep the younger 2 entertained. The 2 Kids meals arrived well before any drinks (prompt... but not really what one would expect), at this time we asked the waitress about the drinks ordered, she said 'they shouldn't be long'. She then went to the bar' and only then it seamed she ordered them for our table. Rather quickly the drinks did arrive .......but the Coffee didn't. The Bar lady, when asked about the coffee responded with 'I'll just get it'. Then the Adult meals arrived about 5 mins later. Still No Coffee. My wife being a non drinker, though fond of a coffee - prompted the waitress on the coffee once again. After asking for the manager, she arrived and could only respond with A very insincere 'Sorry' with no explenation of why the ordered coffee was not served even after asking 3 times. We felt 'rushed through', it wasn't a busy night, though there was one large group of 12+, but regardless that should not be an excuse. Our message to Hogs Breath, though we have visited other locations in your chain, this experience has put us off -- 'SORRY - We won't return'
