Carol Selva Rajah, one of Australia's celebrated experts in Asian cuisine will be signing copies of her new book Heavenly Fragrance: cooking with aromatic asian herbs, fruits, spices and seasonings at the barn cafe & grocery, 731-735 Darling Street, Rozelle on Saturday 5 April at 11am.
Heavenly Fragrance introduces the art of using Asia's most aromatic cooking ingredients – ranging from herbs, fruit and nuts, spices to seasonings and pastes – in preparing food with wonderful aromas which excites both the palate and our sense of smell.
Inspired by the fond memories of fragrant cooking since her childhood days, author Carol Selvarajah has included this book a collection of new and traditional Southeast Asian dishes for anyone wishing to serve the best taste of the East at home, or bring back fond memories of Asian flavours.
Author Carol Selva Rajah is an award winning chef currently based in Sydney. A well respected chef and a dedicated educator in the field of Asian culinary culture, she is a food consultant to the hospitality and food manufacturing industries and makes regular television appearances in Asia and Australia, as well as participating in food festivals, master classes and charity functions. She has written 10 cookbooks on Malaysian and Southeast Asian cuisine.
