La Grillade in Crows Nest shifts into another gear today after 30 successful years. Australian International Hospitality Group (AIH), headed by Rodger Powell, has secured La Grillade’s future to continue operating as a premium grill restaurant on Sydney’s North Shore.

“Peter and Bev Hammerschmidt and their respected team have created a sustainable and profitable restaurant business for over 23 years. La Grillade is a shining example of a restaurant that consistently delivers on its promise and we are very excited by this opportunity to support its continued growth” said Rodger Powell.

Arguably one of Sydney’s longest operating restaurants, La Grillade has made its name over the past 30 years due to exceptional attention to detail in its service, remarkable wine list and its perfectly prepared and cooked range of premium steaks.

Long serving owner Peter Hammerschmidt said, “Our Restaurant and Bar Managers, Chrissie Tague and Debbie Findlay, will continue the tradition of exceptional customer service and recognition that they have offered our customers for the past 23 years. With AIH Group’s injection of energy, new technology, marketing and commercial expertise Chrissy and Debra will be able to move the restaurant into an exciting new phase.”

‘The Grill’ offers a unique combination of fine food, world-class wines, friendly service and warmth of atmosphere that is rarely found in today’s dining scene. The space at La Grillade is very versatile, with areas suitable for a range of functions from a private boardroom style lunch for 8 to a cocktail party for 100 guests. The Garden Courtyard is available all seasons with a retractable roof and modern heating system for up to 50 guests seated or 100 for a cocktail function.

The restaurant opening hours remain lunch - Monday to Friday 12noon - 4pm and dinner - Monday to Saturday 6pm - 10:30pm.
