The CHOPHOUSE experience on Bligh Street, has recently introduced a traditional $18 Riverine beef and Berkshire pork roasts.
For just AUD$18, CHOPHOUSE maintains its stringent ethos on high-quality ingredients served in a classic, uncomplicated style.
Staying true to the roots of the classical roast, the CHOPHOUSE roast is dressed in house-made gravy, along with additional jus to enhance the flavours. The beef is served with seeded mustard, and chunky apple chutney is served with the pork.
The slow-roasted beef is cooked for 90 minutes as a 4-kilogram piece, and is sliced straight from the oven. The 120 day grainfed Riverine striploin serves itself flawlessly to slow-roasting, being served perfectly moist and tender.
Often nicknamed the “Wagyu of Pork”, Berkshire is widely regarded as the highest quality pork. Recognised for its unrivalled moisture, marbling and tenderness, the CHOPHOUSE roast pork is the absolute best example in the country.
Served with traditional roast potatoes and pumpkin, Guests can also order sides & salad from the Menu.
The CHOPHOUSE roast is available through Monday to Saturday, from 6pm onwards. On a cold night after a hard day’s work, the unmistakable smell and flavour of the CHOPHOUSE roast will entice and warm patrons against the winter chill. Reservations are recommended, but not essential.

Main Course offers six Chopped Salads, all under AUD$25 each. The Chops & Meat section has over a dozen alternatives – from a 180g Wagyu minute steak, up to a 600g grain-fed t-bone. Over half a dozen sides complement the extensive Meat offering. Vegetarians are catered for. If you still have space for Dessert, there are half a dozen choices, as well as Cheese, complemented by Tea, Coffee, Port & Dessert Wine.
