For a third year in a row over 300 square metres of real grass turf will carpet both the Restaurant & Wine Bar and Main Bar areas on Melbourne Cup Day. Punters will be able to view all the live action, fun and excitement of the big race on 8 huge screens which surround the rooms. With special prizes and giveaways, sweeps, Fashions on the Fields and Mystery TAB Trifectas for group bookings of 10 or more, Verandah promises a unique Melbourne Cup experience that will be the next best thing to being on the ground at Flemington.

Located in the heart of the CBD at 60 Castlereagh Street Sydney, Verandah has just undergone a two-stage multimillion-dollar refurbishment, meaning guests can celebrate the race that stops a nation in serious style. There are three Melbourne Cup menu options to choose from, located in either the Main Bar or the Restaurant & Wine Bar:

- The Verandah Main Bar Melbourne Cup Lawn Party is a standing affair featuring a tasty selection of Verandah’s famous canapés and Stoney Peak wines over 3 hours. Cost: $95 per person.

- A two-course sit down Verandah Main Bar Melbourne Cup Lawn Luncheon is also available and features a wide choice of five mains and four desserts, and includes a Stoney Peak wine package. Cost: $120 per person.

- The Verandah Restaurant & Wine Bar Melbourne Cup Lawn Luncheon offers a seven-course feast featuring the restaurant’s stunning a la carte cuisine and a choice of matching premium or deluxe wine packages. Cost: $180 per person (premium package) or $220 per person (deluxe package).
