Drop in to the barn cafe & grocery in Rozelle on Tuesday 30 October 2007 at 6pm for our annual Christmas Food & Gift Launch. Following the success of last year, the barn is again partnering with our gourmet food and gift suppliers to showcase their Christmas wares with yummy food tastings and gift displays, a special sneak preview for customers. The evening is free and guests will be greeted with a complimentary Christmas cocktail - and offered a 20% savings for pre-ordering on the night including free home delivery within 15 km of the barn. To assist with our catering on the night, guests are invited to register online at grocery@thebarncafe.com.au to go into a draw to win a barn Christmas hamper.

For tasting on the night, a great range of Christmas food and gift items including turkeys and hams matched with the barn’s sauces and stuffings; thyme macadamia and bush pepper; and lemon myrtle, pistachio & roast capsicum. Anna Cuisina will be displaying her delicious range of Christmas puddings and the Cookery Book will preview their Christmas new release cookbooks.

Guests will be welcomed by the barn Head Chef Jed Sneddon and Grocery Manager Gee Smallman who are well prepared with tastings, ideas and recipes to tantalise the palates with samples of the barn’s Aussie back yard xmas BBQ packs accompanied with salads for Christmas this year - seafood, meat and vegetarian lovers are all catered for; with fresh skewers marinated vegetables and chilli lemongrass chicken and Queensland prawns or herb crusted lamb cutlets just for starters.

Brendan Millett, the General Manager says, "We are offering our customers this year full catering, hamper food and gift ideas - on the night guests can browse taste and order at their leisure and leave feeling organised for Christmas, taking the stress out of last minute impulse buying. Our staff are ready to advise on Christmas party planning and organising."
