On June 28, chef Matt Moran of ARIA Restaurant and The Chopping Block, will be finding time in his busy schedule to have some laughs with children living with cancer and produce a 2009 calendar for Camp Quality.

Camp Quality is committed to bringing hope and happiness to every child living with cancer, their families and communities through ongoing quality recreational, educational, hospital and financial support programs. They passionately believe in the power of fun therapy and optimism, and that laughter is the best medicine.

The calendar will feature Moran with 20 Camp Quality children, cooking some of his favourite recipes. Photos appearing in the calendar will be shot by Camp Quality parent and professional photographer Dallas Nock. The images promise to be stunning, using the famous Byron Bay beach, light house and circus school as a setting.

"I'm looking forward to having a few laughs with these remarkable children and their families. As I have two young children of my own this cause is close to my heart." said Matt.

The calendar will be available Sept 1 from Camp Quality Coffs Harbour and Bananacoast Credit Unions along the North NSW coast. It will retail for AUS$14.95 with all proceeds going to Camp Quality.

The calendar shoot will be just one fun activity amongst many at the 2 day camp for children living with cancer.
