During those chilly August days, the Royal Exhibition Buildings will be transformed into a haven of warm, cosy, comfort, snug chairs and quiet areas have been set aside so groups of friends can savour and discuss each of the taste sensations for which the restaurants are famous.
Purchasing food and wine at Taste of Melbourne has been made simple with the use of a specially created currency – the Crown (1 Crown = $1). The cost of dishes varies from 8 to 12 Crowns with glasses of wine commencing at 6 Crowns. The process is as simple as passing over the required number of Crowns for the selected dish or glass of wine. For convenience ATM's and Crown conversion banks will be located on site.
