last year I bought a pastie at Gillies in Bendigo.the last one I had was in 1965 just before we left for Holland.It was everything I rememberd, the tast the smell and the juicy meat.I`ll be back.....

Perfect!
We went to Bendigo for the weekend and had the best pastries ever. The traditional pasties are to die for as are the sausage rolls and meat pies. I bought a box of assorted pastries to bring back home to Melbourne and will travel back to Bendigo for more.....they are certainly worth the drive :)
