Everything is prepared on the premises including cakes, dressings and relishes. The constantly changing menu reflects both the seasons and freshly available produce. Whilst the wine list has a good selection from the region. And, as you would expect from a café focussed on quality, the coffee is first rate.

Always exceptional! The poached eggs are always perfect and the hollandaise sauce is fantastic! Lekker is more than the best breakfast in Ballarat, it's the best I've ever had from anywhere. The staff are very friendly and the Chef has perfected cooking.

Lekker is the best place in Ballarat for an excellent breakfast or just a coffee. Their staff have excllent barista skills and the chef really knows how to do poached eggs and holindaise well. I have never been disappointed in the 2 years of eating there every Saturday or Sunday morning.
