I was so happy with celebrating my birthday at the Stokehouse. The staff upstairs were all delightful with the added bonus of good food, great wine menu and a gorgeous view. The sunset lounge and deck are a lovely way to end the experience while sipping your digestive. A girl definitely feels special when she is wined and dined at the Stokehouse upstairs.

We had international visitors with us and this was a memorable experience for them for all the wrong reasons! Service was almost non existent. Fortunately our guests were non drinkers - we were not even offered the wine list. Cannot describe disappointment in quality of the food and its lack of presentation - fritto misto consisted of two measly battered prawns, small piece of flathead and inedible whole blue swimmer crab deep fried, shell and all. Water by the glass tasted unfresh/seafood?

Dining at the Stokehouse (upstairs) last weekend was a wonderful experience! The service was good (though not especially attentive) and the table by the window offered the expect gorgeous view. The food was delicious, especially the chicken breast I ate - moist, tender and very tasty! My partner's steak was just right. The surprise was the chocolate soufle with the most delicious chocolate fondant inside, a dessert fit for the gods! Compliments to the caring chef. We will certainly go there again!
