The service was just terrible, the waitress didn't even know what the food was. She said "it's cheesy grits, but I'm not even sure what that is" and walked away. The food was awful.I was so excited to go because it sounded great but it was the biggest disappointment of my week. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT!! AND it was super expensive for terrible food

Coming from Minnesota, I grew up eating diner food. Americans associate diners with a classic atmosphere and cheap eats. Jazz City Diner not only delivers on ambiance, it serves GREAT food (for a little more $, but for a reason!), elevating diner cuisine to something truly exceptional. The chicken & waffles and banana cream pie are sensational.

Unless you order the burger, the portions are tiny and the prices are too high. As for the taste? Nothing exceptional. So save those pennies and try one of the many other restaurants in the area.

Stumbled upon this little gem on Saturday night. Small casual and fun with lovely service - the chef and staff are obviously excited about it and they offered to make our friend a vegetarian option especially for him - and he loved it. Great after a night out at a few little bars around the corner. Yummy burgers and a kick-ass banana cream pie.

We made a booking two weeks ago for the 27th of December. Knowing it is a typical holiday, I specifically asked if they were open, as it is our wedding anniversary. We were assured that they were, only to walk up on the 27th to find that they were closed. I left a voice mess about my dissatisfaction. To date no one has returned my call.

really awesome little place- not too over the top but with character, quite intimate. Great food, classic cheeseburger but fresh not greasy! The strawberry shortcake was a delightful little surprise-the strawberry paper was a definite highlight and the people who work there are just really welcoming, which makes it that much more worthwhile :)
