Hungry Jacks is a franchise of the international Burger King Corporation and has operated in Australia since 1971. The first store in the Perth suburb of Innaloo opened to roaring success. This led to a rapid expansion with the first South Australian store on Anzac Highway opening in 1972, followed by Kedron in Queensland in 1974.
