The service was great especially since it was extremely busy on a saturday. I ordered the ricotta doughnuts with coffee while I read the paper. The place seemed well organised and looked under control. My order didn't take that long and was delicious. Must go back and try the moroccan meatballs it looked amazing. Menu is great:> |

Went last sat b4 the footy the whole street seemed buzzing we didn't know where to eat until we saw the manager who greeted us & sat us down. Our meals were delicious & arrived quickly considering it was so busy. We all enjoyed our meals and fell in love with the Manager! We will definitely be going back. Service was great. |

We ALWAYS eat at Issus! The staff r friendly. The menu is unique & very tasty with great sized portions. We recently went on a Sat & had the Manager greet us immediately, she found us a seat explained the specials & took our coffee & juice order. The waiter was also very attentive. We always have a very enjoyable experience.A+ |

I can't believe the bad reviews u guys must be very hard to please! I have been going to Issus for years and luv it! I went recently on a Saturday & was immediately greeted with a friendly well spoken beautiful young lady. Everything ran smoothly eventhough it was extremely busy. It was managed very professionally. This place keeps getting better! |

The rudests waiterss I've ever come across, most had very poor English. The place with just unprofessional, with badly handwritten lunch menus on a notepad. Waited a long time for the food and drinks, the mocha was COLD. When we complained, the waitress proceeded to microwave the coffee in the mug instead of making a new one, and burnt it. AVOID!!! |

Three of us had breakfast. I had the banana french toast which was absolutely to die for, I didn't have to eat again until 3pm!!, my sister had the pancakes which were light and fluffy and our friend had the eggs benedict which were cooked to perfection. The service was fabulous, the girls were friendly and the fresh juice was delicious. |

The food took 40 minutes to arrive and when it did we were sorry to have it. Crepes that were simply stodge and falafel that was dry and tasteless. We were visitors to Melbourne looking forward to good cafe food. Disappointing doesn't cover it.How they could survive in such a competitive market is a mystery to us!! |

I couldnt believe that it took them 40 minutes to bring me my coffee and then another 25 for my meal!!! Which was cold!! The owner was so rude and said they "lost my order". Which i find completely unexceptable as i work in hospiality! |

Seemingly large but do-able! Nothing spectacular but good solid selection of well-cooked food that lasts a WHOLE DAY!! A hearty but not heavy start to the day - mushrooms, grilled tomato, great sourdough bread (decent thick toasted slices!), rocket, lightly steamed baby spinach, 2 poached eggs and hash browns (OK, my daughter ate them!), and a more than decent portion of ripe avocado. This breakfast lasted me the whole day walking through Mlebourne and the flight back until I arrived back at Brisbane late at night! This sort of food is the reason it's worth a trip any time of year to Melbourne from sunny Qld!! Congratulations! add to that the Central Place ambience and I could spend all day, every day here .... |
