This was my 4th visit to the Press Club in as many years and it has changed over this time (not for the better) Recent rennovations appear to have been funded by the increase in $ on the menu and attempts to impress with pomp & ceremony rather that let the food speak for itself. i.e the rosewater sprayed around whilst eating your dessert - please !

The food was ok; nothing spectacular at all though. The dining room is crowded and noisy so if you're after a special or cosy night, this isn’t it. The service was very poor and the food was way overpriced for what it was. This is not fine dining at all and if that is what you're expecting (a la vue du monde), you will be very disappointed. Like I was.
