Splendid view, Impressive and ambitious menu which raised our hopes high. Lamb brains were nice but were served cold. Duck livers were raw and cold. Fillet mignon was outstanding. We felt disappointed and sorry that a potentially exceptional experience failed for minor reasons. The uncooked livers were taken off the bill. But that's not the point. |

We were a group of 8 adults and 4 kids under 10. We went there for dinner and it was fantastic. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was wonderful and the service was wonderful. I really think some so called foodies need to get over themselves. If they were rude or unattentive it was probably because of your attitude. |

Is this place a joke?
Yes the view is beautiful! This only helps if you are seated at a table in view of the view. If not, then the atmosphere is certainly lacking.
Then there is the service...or lack thereof. I think someone needs to tell these wait staff that they are actually there to provide a service and not to prance around as though the |

Not a memorable lunch. high priced for what u get. not the standard that we got use to at Roberts at Peppertree. if a windy and cold day, ask for a table away from the verandah area, wind was very uncomfortable twice cooked duck seemed like more once cooked, stringy. batter on zucchini flowers was dense and heavy |

We are regulars at a few of Sydney's inner city best restaurants but we found our experience at Bistro Molines the best in a very long time. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, the recipes and food lovely, wine list generous, stunning ambience and scenery, our lunch warmly and expertly hosted by Sally and her team. Wonderful and thanks. |

.When I recently visited Bistro Molines I was expecting something spectacular- seeing as this is a Chef's hat winner- but I was very much underwhelmed. Being used to fine dining I found the restaurant over done and pretentious. The food seemed to try too hard to capture my attention and was average at best, and the wine selection was a bit disappointing seeing as this bistro is in the hunter valley. Not only that but the service I found to be lacking- almost as if they couldn't wait for us to go |

Bistro Molines is highly recommended when you visit Hunter Valley Wine Country. This gorgeous alfresco dining venue is at Tallavera Grove in Mount View and has expansive views over the valley. The interiors have a European feel with baskets of fruit and lovely floral displays. I agree with the glowing reviews regarding Robert Molines, he deserves his Chefs Hat, the food is just divine, you really want to savour every mouthful. The service is brilliant too, Robert's wife, Sally runs a professional team on the floor and the ambience is relaxed with laid back music in intimate surrounds. |
