I just found out today that Gautama's has shut! I am devastated!
It was the BEST place to dine in Dicky Beach!
I will miss the atmosphere, the food and the coffee!
Now Sunday breakfast up the coast seems depressing! |

If you want more than the usual pub, club or cafe offerings, you have to try this little gem at Dicky Beach. Outstanding food with wonderful flavours plated up by experienced owner/chef Damien. Boutique restaurants like this are few and far between and this one is well worth a visit. |

I booked a table here purely on the reviews I had read. We were not disappointed the food was fabulous! My friend and I had the last 2 Creme Brulees left for the day and a woman came in when we were there wanting only Creme Brule for lunch as they are sooo amazing. I thought she was going to fight us ours - they were perfect. Well done!!! |

Highly recommend!! Truly one of the standouts on the Sunshine Coast - recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. Reasonably small restaurant in a quiet part of the Sunshine Coast (Dicky Beach) but the food, service, coffee is top drawer. Very talented chef. Must do for either bfast or dinner!

My husband and I looked at each after a meal there and both said, "oh my goodness, that was fantastic, the flavours ", so needless to say everytime we have visitors we take them there, for breakfast lunch or dinner and just wait for their expressions. We try to go every couple of weeks. We can only hold out that long. Love the chalk boards. |

amazing food - relaxed atmosphere - great staff. the food at Gautama speaks for itself! Damiens insight into food is incredible. the phrase "OH MY GAWD" regularly pops into your head while tasting this food. check it out - you WILL NOT be disappointed!!! |

'Tis a gem of a place is Gautama. A fun, friendly vibe greets you upon entry & the food is devine regardless of the time of day you swan in. Coming from Melbourne, I always look forward to dining here when I'm on the Sunshine Coast. It's clearly the best. |

I am the marketing manager at Hynes Lawyers, Brisbane and have used Damien numerous times to cater for formal 3 course boardroom lunches, one of which was a lunch with the Qantas Wallabies. On every occasion Damien has provided us with an exceptional level of quality food, service (his waitress is fantastic) and the value for money is second to none. Most importantly, our clients love him and have recommended him to their organisations. I can't recommended him highly enough. |
