I visited Kafenes last week and i had a wonderful meal and enjoyed the night out with my mates. We visited Greece last summer and this is the closest we have had in Australia that reminded us of our fabulous holidays in Thesaloniki-Halkidiki. We had some delicious dips for starters with pitta bread and then we enjoyed some lovely fishy bits cooked with care and in a "Greek way" from the head chef and owner of the place Philip. We stayed till late and had coffee and sweets after our meal and had the chance to chat to the owners. I would recommend this place to everyone. 10 out of 10!!
