Our large family decided to have a get together,so we all met at the Traralgon RSL. Started with soup, then Smorgasbord, which was a large variety of dishes, hot yummy chips, roasts and vegies.Salad bar was nice l had the mushroom salad. Then to top it off we all had double choc cake with cream or ice cream.Kids all played in the games room.Bon appete

Ate lunch here on St Patricks Day 2010. The potato and leek soup was delicous, and a huge bowl, almost a meal in itself, serve with soem crusty bread. But, sorry, the main course was very disappointing. Not much choice in the salad bar, with the vegies mainy overcooked pumpkin and undercooked carrots. No greens ("sorry, we ran out"). 10 /10 for the soup, but only 5/10 for main course.

Rate the food, not the service is the instruction. Well that's bad news in this case, because the food was frankly very disappointing. I had a steak, ordered medium rare and served well done, together with luke warm fries and an undressed salad. Basic errors which shouldn't occur even in this basic type of catering environment. Sorry, but I should have cooked for myself. I would have done a better job.
