Ate here while coming back from Sydney to Melbourne, with a young child and an infant. That makes for a number of difficult demands (high chair, baby food warmed up, nappy change, child friendly food, etc). Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and her staff. They were all happy, friendly and eager to please. Food was fresh, original and tasty. Coffee was good. Kids meals are well thought through. Book shop made for a fun browse after lunch. Simply a great place. Very highly recommended. |

Had the most fab coffee this morning and the service was just as wonderful (as well as entertaining) Look forward to having more time to look through all the books, and the lunch menu looked scrumptious. Yay for your fab coffee and upbeat service. |

My first experience wasn't the best - I went there with friends and waited a very long time to receive my coffee (after the others had been served). The coffee was far too hot and the milk was burnt. I didn't have time to sit around for another so I simply asked for my money back and they kindly obliged. I realised that it wasn't the usual barista making the coffee, and I have returned on another occasion and the coffee was much better. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly, and the range of books is really good. |

The best coffee in Wangaratta is found at the Idyl Book Cafe. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed - the food is also fantastic. It is all home made and fresh. Definitely go in and try it! My favourite place in Wang. |
