Tried the New Lucky Chan on Saturday night, I was blown away by the decor, the atmosphere, and hospitality, although very busy the staff had tine to stop and listen to what you wanted, the food was great, love the zones areas. Menu selection was good both western style and traditional (you will need to ask the Head waiter to suggest something) as being western was only presented with the western menu, Over all an excellent experience.

Never have I been served so fast with bad food at rip off prices. They are just NOT interested it customer retention - this is a tourist trap. Bring 'em in rip 'em off and get them out as quickly as possible. Rubbish.

This was a very disappointing night; we are regular restaurant patrons and have been to many restaurants throughout Melbourne and this restaurant as far as service and value for money rated 1 out of 10 (that's very generous). If you were to put this restaurant in China town amongst the multitude of Chinese restaurants it would be the same food as all the others, Just a Chinese restaurant with takeaway. The food was average and a rip off for the money paid. We would not recommend this to any one. Its unfortunate that it is in a prime location and that tourists have to be subjected to sub-standard food and extraordinarily high prices.
